The Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction Passed Certification Audit Against Four International ISO Standards

The Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction (TSIAC) has successfully undergone a certification audit conducted by the international certification body CERT International.
As part of the audit, the Institute’s management system was assessed against the requirements of four international standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The audit also examined the applicability of the established management procedures and documentation, taking into account the specific characteristics of the Institute’s educational activities.
A Comprehensive Approach to Management
The application of the requirements of four international standards provides a comprehensive approach to key areas of management within an educational organization.
ISO 9001:2015 establishes requirements for a quality management system and is aimed at structuring organizational processes and maintaining consistent quality in an organization’s activities.
ISO 14001:2015 addresses the management of environmental aspects and enables organizations to establish a systematic approach to environmental management.
ISO 45001:2018 establishes requirements for occupational health and safety management, helping organizations systematically manage related risks and maintain safe working conditions.
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 sets requirements for an information security management system, including a systematic approach to protecting information and managing information security risks.
During the certification audit, the functioning of the Institute’s management system was assessed with consideration of the specific characteristics of its educational activities. Particular attention was given to the implementation of established processes, procedures, and documentation across the relevant areas of management.
The integrated application of international standards contributes to the systematic organization of management processes, more effective consideration of environmental aspects, the promotion of occupational health and safety, and the protection of the organization’s information resources.
The certification audit provided an assessment of the conformity of the management system of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction with the requirements of the relevant international standards, as well as its applicability to the organization’s primary area of activity—the provision of educational services in Turkmenistan.
